mercilessly hot Mark Foster did not qualify for the semifinals in his only event, at what were most likely his last Olympics. at least now he'll have some time to work on his novel or, you know, do more of this sort of thing.
still, i'm sad to see him go. had we but world enough, and time, Mark Foster...
